I am black, because my parents are black and their parents are black.  However being black is more than just what, or whom I look like.  It's even more than just living a certain style, or culture.

Being black is a feeling that I have that is both mental (emotional) and physical. It’s how I move.  It's an awareness of certain things going on around me, where others may not notice.  It’s my way of reasoning the way millions of others that look and see and feel and understand, just like me, without having to say anything.  But mostly it is because I want to be black and so I am.
