“Being Black” to me means appreciating my race and people. Growing up I didn’t think I would be successful, but God blessed me with a very good job in the Federal Government, and now I’m retired. Many people think "Black" means “get back,” but I‘m moving forward! Although retired, life has just begun. I’m black and proud!!!
