When we as black men really get it right praying is about the most intimate thing we could ever do.  Besides calling on God we are also revealing our innermost selves to ourselves we discover our deepest hopes and fears our basic innocence and we prepare our subconscious minds for the major changes that are bound to come about during this spiritual journey.
