I Am Black: Translated |
|||||
Regina Wright I am inspired by the philosphies and art that Black people in the Diaspora have created to make sense of and to cope with our experiences. My Black/African American identity is a source of strength, community and purpose. However, I am also aware that by only identifying with my socio-political and racial self or by understanding this identity as fixed, I cheat my spirit. |
